Way back in 1997 I bought this book. The consequences of this are some of the reasons these pages exist today and have existed for more than 25 years. I recently bought a new much expanded and way better version of this book and immediately went on updating my old Fuerteventura Page, in the hope that some day soon I will be able to visit this island again and do even more walks here.

I have discontinued the “full resolution” and “video” albums. I upload all pictures now in original size anyway to my regular photo album, and my videos can just as easily be added to the YouTube channel I made during Covid. Storing everything twice is a waste of space (and money).

Now this is a great event for anyone that has been strolling around Machrie Moor specifically or generally been walking on the Isle of Arran.

In my youth I used to play the clarinet. Never actually owned one myself so I recently for fun bought a good quality “plastic”  instrument (so it will be mostly maintenance free). Got a very good deal on this one, just the mouthpieces that came with it are basically worth as much as I gave for the whole package.
