I have found a scan on the internet of the product sheet for one of the very first software products I ever developed, see ND-895273-01-EN.pdf. You can find more information about the pioneer Norwegian computer manufacturer Norsk Data at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norsk_Data.
Plans for 2012
Long, dark autumn evenings are perfect for contemplating what to do next summer. As Greeks are running their country into inevitable doom by hurting the tourists that feed them (maybe tourists should go into strike next year?), another trip right now seems completely out of the question. Most likely next year will concentrate on Italy and Turkey. After falling in love with the Sorrento Peninsula this year I can see maybe even a 2-3 week trip covering Positano, Sorrento and possibly Capri in the horizon. In Turkey right now Fethiye and Kaş seem interesting. That might also make at least a daytrip to a Greek island possible, Kastellórizo (if it is not closed for business).
Walks around Amalfi
My report can be found at http://islandwalking.com/amalfi.html. I firmly believe this will not be my last visit to neither the Sorrento peninsula as a whole nor the Amalfi coast… 🙂

Walks on Zakynthos
If you read my report at http://islandwalking.com/zakynthos.html, at least you will know a lot about which walks you might just give a pass…
Traditional White Wine from Zakynthos
There is one type of white wine that is available everywhere on the Greek island of Zakynthos, and that is the Verdea. Both dry and semi-dry versions can be found. This is a very refreshing summer drink and has my warmest recommendations. Typically an inexpensive wine. Several producers, the above label is just an example.

Anniversary
No posts for a while, I have been and still am a bit busy partying… 🙂
Il Segno del Comando
English speaking fans of the sensational Italian 70s TV-series “Il segno del comando” will be disappointed with the DVD edition provided by RAI. NO sub-titles are included. Obviously no-one in Italy thinks anyone else could possibly be interested. Luckily the script can be found at http://www.teledico.com/sdc/index.htm. The website however does not work (hacked?) and will re-direct to some completely different site if you click just about anything. But there is a solution for that: I recommend the Opera web browser where it is so easy to momentarily disable Javascript (or make a site specific setting for this by right-clicking the web page). That will fix it. Also running the entire website (even if it will leave it visually bad looking) through Google Translate will maybe be the best, because this is also all in Italian. What you are looking for is “Sceneggiato” – “Puntate” – “Prima”…”Quinta” for the five episodes.
