This has irritated me since the day I got it, but not enough that I could be bothered to do anything about it&#8230; Now that the machine is maybe due for replacement anyway and I do not care if I break it anymore, why not give it a shot?<\/p>\n<p>The process involves flashing the firmware of your machine, so it might be risky. As the OP stated:<\/p>\n<p><b>I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DEAD MACHINES AND MESSED UP SCREENS! And the process did work, for me. There was a bit of a hick-up when the flashing process was over and the software tried to restart the desktop, it even claimed it &#8220;failed&#8221; and my desktop went black. I restarted the machine and put my desktop background picture back and everything seems fine now, and I have a decent yellow.
